You ever have a bomb idea while driving or in the shower, and you swear you’ll remember it… and then it disappears? Exactly. That used to be me—until I realized I was losing momentum because I wasn’t capturing my ideas properly.
Our brains weren’t designed to store every thought—we need a system.
Here’s what works for me:
Notes App: I keep a running list labeled “Thoughts + Ideas.” I drop anything that pops up. It’s messy but it works.
Voice Notes: When I’m on the go, I’ll speak into my phone and transcribe later. Some of my best ideas come in motion.
Revisit Weekly: I don’t just collect ideas—I schedule time to go back and review them. I highlight ones I want to act on soon.
Creativity isn’t the problem. Capturing and using it is. And once you have a system? That’s when your ideas become action.
